About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in live entertainment marketing at two premier venues in Colorado Springs. You will work on productions, family shows, and community events while building professional skills in digital media, community outreach, and event promotions. This is a paid position for approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your class schedule.
What you'll do#
- Execute grassroots marketing efforts, including flyer distribution, community outreach, and managing the street team.
- Support digital marketing tasks such as website management, email campaigns, CRM, and social media.
- Research leads and opportunities to sell group tickets and build partnerships.
- Monitor press coverage and compile media clippings.
- Conduct market and demographic research to inform future marketing efforts.
- Assist with artist welcome gifts and dressing room signage.
- Track and archive marketing materials and show promotions.
- Contribute to post-show reports and marketing recaps.
- Support on-site promotions and special events as needed.
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms like Facebook, X, and Instagram.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- A strong interest in live events and entertainment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work some nights and weekends based on the event schedule.
