About the role#
We are looking for an analytical SEO Intern to help build our organic growth engine. You will work with our Growth Marketing and Content teams to improve search rankings, increase traffic, and grow our community presence. This role offers hands-on experience with how modern media platforms scale through SEO, content strategy, and community engagement.
What you'll do#
- Conduct keyword research for Asian entertainment queries and identify ranking gaps.
- Build SEO briefs and support content ideation.
- Optimize metadata, H1/H2 structures, and internal linking for title and content pages.
- Draft SEO-optimized content and refresh evergreen articles.
- Manage and grow our Reddit presence by participating in discussions and creating engaging posts.
- Integrate community insights from Reddit into our broader SEO strategy.
- Track performance metrics including rankings, impressions, CTR, and organic traffic.
- Analyze user behavior and competitor platforms to identify content and backlink opportunities.
- Support monthly reporting and help test SEO hypotheses.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written English skills and an analytical mindset.
- Interest in streaming, pop culture, anime, K-drama, or Asian entertainment.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMrush is preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, HTML structure, and data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets is helpful.
- Experience with Reddit or online community platforms is a plus.
