About the role#
As a Real Estate Asset Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the financial and operational management of a diverse real estate portfolio. You will work alongside asset management professionals to help with property operations, financial performance, lease administration, and portfolio management. This role is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with mid-year CAM and operating expense analyses.
- Review and validate lease and loan abstracts.
- Help organize property records.
- Support compliance audits.
- Build and maintain relationships through cold and warm phone calls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong communication skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
- A desire to pursue a career in commercial real estate and the construction industry.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Evidence of high academic achievement and prior elected leadership experience are preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
