About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to support project delivery. You will gain hands-on experience in project execution while building professional relationships across the team. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to ensure work aligns with contract documents.
- Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Support the team by contributing to processes such as RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- Prior elected leadership experience, as well as previous work, internship, or trade experience, are preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

This is an on-site position. Locations include Appleton, Waukesha, and Madison, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
