    About the role#

    As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development of analog and digital chips and system products. You will work through the full lifecycle, from initial concepts to mass production. This role involves direct interaction with business units and customers to define product roadmaps and manage development tradeoffs. You will evaluate silicon systems, including both hardware and software components, while ensuring all development steps are properly documented.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete high speed IC design cycles and participate in various system design activities.
    • Translate user requirements into functional specifications.
    • Implement solutions and manage enhancement projects.
    • Perform troubleshooting and debugging on system-related issues.
    • Gather requirements and provide documentation for each stage of the development lifecycle.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms, and creating system reference models.
    • Proficiency in C or C++ and signal processing tools like Matlab.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Capability to work in team environments and build professional relationships.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and take initiative to drive results.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Dallas, Texas.
    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
    • The position operates on a rolling basis.
    • Texas Instruments does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
