About the role#
As an Accounting Intern at Texas Instruments, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing directly to our business operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to see how accounting drives decisions at a global semiconductor company. This is a paid, full-time summer internship program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business cost trends.
- Update semiconductor pricing for internal transfers.
- Review R&D expenses and compare results to forecasts and estimates.
- Perform monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Contribute to monthly close activities, audits, income statement and balance sheet analysis, and inventory valuation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related business field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across different functions.
