About the role#
Tetra Pak offers two internship opportunities in Denton, Texas, focusing on IT and Data Analytics. These roles provide hands-on experience in a professional environment, supported by a mentor and an onboarding program. Interns will work full-time during the summer months, with the option to continue part-time (up to 20 hours per week) through the fall and winter terms.
What you'll do#
Depending on the specific focus, you will engage in tasks such as:
- Learning IT infrastructure and working within an Agile Scrum framework.
- Building solutions using ServiceNow, Enterprise Monitoring Tools, and DevOps platforms.
- Developing automation capabilities with Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- Creating data-driven reports and presenting solutions to management and stakeholders.
- Working with on-premises Data Center infrastructure, Kubernetes, and VM Ware.
- Tracking KPIs related to warehouse and planning performance.
- Performing root cause analysis for performance deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Supporting inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle count analysis, and time studies.
- Documenting standard operating procedures and improvement actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program, specifically within your final two years of study.
- Relevant majors include Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Availability to work full-time during the summer.
- For IT roles: Knowledge of automation or coding languages, APIs, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools like Power BI.
- For Data Analytics roles: Proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and visualization) and experience with Power BI and automation tools.

- Terms: Summer 2027, Fall 2027, and Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position ($22-$25 per hour).
- Note: Some roles are based in a factory environment. This requires wearing steel-toe safety shoes, a company-provided uniform, and protective equipment such as hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses. Jewelry must be removed in these areas. All necessary safety gear is provided.
