About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. You will learn about electric vehicles and our technology while gaining hands-on experience in vehicle service. This is a full-time role for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain accurate records of time, parts, shop supplies, and inventory.
- Help keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsers and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Ability to report to the local service center as needed.
