About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. You will gain hands-on experience with electric vehicles and learn about our technologies. This role is a team-based position that includes customer interaction, so clear communication is important.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies or parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with the English language.
