About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands on tasks on customer vehicles. This role involves learning about electric vehicles and our technology. You will work in a team environment and interact with customers, so clear communication is important.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, time records, shop supplies, and parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety first attitude.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with the English language.
