About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work at our service center to inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance while supporting our service team in a customer-facing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections for new cars.
- Operate various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies and parts.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of customer vehicles.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- A valid driver license and the ability to report to the service center as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Strong focus on safety and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
