About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks on Tesla vehicles. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain experience with electric vehicle technology while supporting our service operations and interacting with customers.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use hand, power, and shop tools to complete daily tasks.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections for new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies and parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations as needed or through a rotation.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
