About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at a local service center to gain hands-on experience with electric vehicles. You will assist with vehicle service and maintenance while learning about the technologies used in our cars. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on Tesla vehicles.
- Handle Pre-Delivery Inspections for new cars.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Manage inventory, shop supplies, and parts records.
- Support vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web browsers.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.

- This is an on-site position.
- The pay rate is $23.75 per hour.
