What you'll do#
- Create physics-based simulation modules for robotics applications.
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of complex system models.
- Optimize simulation performance to increase throughput while maintaining fidelity.
- Partner with training and hardware design teams to reduce the gap between simulation and real-world performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Physics, Mathematics, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering degree program with a graduation date between 2026 and 2027.
- Significant experience in robotics physics engine development, evidenced by first-author publications or notable projects.
- Strong grasp of algorithm complexity, data structures, and control theory.
- Familiarity with compiler principles and differentiable simulations.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, CUDA, and GPU programming.
- A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 through Fall 2027.
