About the role#
The Chassis Systems Software team builds steering rack and feedback actuator controls for steer-by-wire systems. You will work alongside software, mechatronics, and vehicle dynamics engineers to develop control systems. This role focuses on the intersection of vehicle dynamics, motor controls, and safety.
What you'll do#
- Write high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments.
- Design and implement functionality for embedded subsystems.
- Create software architecture and firmware implementations for hardware.
- Perform hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging, and code optimization.
- Balance performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- Strong, hands-on experience coding in C.
- Preferred experience includes embedded development, low-level microcontroller development, and working on complex PCBAs.
- Preferred knowledge of physics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Preferred experience bringing up multi-disciplinary systems driven by software.

- Compensation: $50.06 - $58.89 per hour plus benefits.
