About the role#
The Design Studio content team defines and maintains the Tesla brand voice across all customer-facing materials. This includes web content, email communications, and in-store displays. You will work with the global team to ensure consistency and accuracy for both future customers and current owners.
What you'll do#
- Write copy for digital and printed communications based on project briefs.
- Learn and apply the Tesla brand voice to all written assignments.
- Proofread and edit drafts from internal teams.
- Validate copy for factual accuracy, including product descriptions and specifications.
- Track and log content analytics.
- Brainstorm creative ways to engage with customers.
- Manage project deadlines and provide updates to partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent copywriting and editing ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines.
- Interest in technology or sustainability.
- Experience writing for a school newspaper is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Hawthorne, California.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Term: Winter and Spring 2027 (starting January 2027).
- Duration: Minimum 12 weeks.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour plus benefits.
