About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. This role focuses on hands-on tasks and learning about electric vehicle technology. You will work in a team environment and interact with customers, so clear communication is important.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on Tesla electric vehicles.
- Handle a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain accurate records of time, inventory, shop supplies, and parts.
- Help keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsers and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety-first attitude when working in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an automotive program is preferred.

- Compensation: $23.75 per hour.
