About the role#
This internship supports the planning, execution, and optimization of Field Service operations in North America, with a focus on Robotaxi maintenance. You will work on data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination to help scale autonomous vehicle operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain dashboards to track North America Field Service KPIs, including Robotaxi fleet readiness and service cycle times.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and operational opportunities.
- Support scheduling, appointment availability, and backlog management.
- Track customer satisfaction and support productivity and revenue initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop operational documents, workflows, and process standards.
- Conduct time studies and process reviews to evaluate efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with Collision, Sales, and Delivery teams.
- Partner with regional teams on best practices and coordinate Robotaxi service programs.
- Travel occasionally to field locations in the Austin area to validate processes.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an academic program related to Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Basic skills using AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Background in operations or project management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Interest in autonomous vehicle and Robotaxi operations.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts occasionally (less than 5% of the time).
- Willingness to travel within the Austin area.
