About the role#
As an Instructional Designer Intern, you will create training content for the Service teams. You will plan, execute, and evaluate projects to ensure the success of training curricula. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and training managers to identify needs and design solutions. You will also manage and support course evaluations within your scope.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop instructor-led and eLearning courses that align with project plans and adult learning theories.
- Ensure all training content is clear, grammatically correct, and meets customer expectations.
- Capture requirements, build designs, develop content, and evaluate outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope curricula requirements.
- Work with e-learning developers and multimedia specialists to publish interactive courses.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio is required for this role.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field.
- Understanding of adult learning theory, including the ADDIE model, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and learning styles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Experience with learning management systems.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship.
