About the role#
The Industrial Design team is looking for interns to support the creative process for projects including gamified collection bins, upcycled products, and art pieces. This role involves collaborating with team members to turn waste materials into functional or artistic items. You will assist in developing concepts for large-scale art and consumer products while maintaining company design standards.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to generate creative ideas.
- Support the full creative process from initial ideation through to production.
- Execute design concepts that meet project requirements and align with company standards.
- Manage administrative tasks related to specific projects.
- Handle additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proof of past work.
- Intermediate skills in Google Suite, particularly Slides.
- Strong written, oral, and digital communication skills.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Trenton, New Jersey.
- You must be able to report to the office at least three days per week.
- This is a paid, on-site internship.
