TerraCycle offers an education-based internship program, primarily during the summer months, with potential opportunities in the fall and spring based on business needs. This is an unpaid, full-time on-site position located in Trenton, New Jersey, for students or individuals interested in the business of waste.
What you'll do#
- Participate in TerraCycle's Learning & Development courses and trainings.
- Work in a casual office environment.
- Engage with the business of waste management and recycling operations.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED.
- If enrolled in a college or university, must be in good academic standing.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week.
- Ability to report to the office a minimum of two days per week.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- High level of effectiveness in written, oral, and digital communication.
- Preferred majors include Environmental Engineering or Business Administration.

- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Benefits include access to Learning & Development courses, catered vegetarian lunch (Monday-Friday), and free commuter transportation to and from the Trenton Transit Center. Educational credits are available where applicable.
