About the role#
This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering. You will work alongside professionals who contribute to real client projects while learning how technical decisions affect the community. Interns receive mentorship and participate in a nationwide cohort program that includes opportunities to share experiences with executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client outcomes.
- Build skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
- Learn safe field and laboratory practices.
- Gain exposure to ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards.
- Develop knowledge in project management, quality management systems, and consulting skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, or related technical fields.
- At least 60% completion of your coursework.
- Interest in consulting and fieldwork.
- Curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with our core values.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
