About the role#
This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical engineering and the business functions that support these services. You will work alongside professionals to turn classroom learning into real-world experience, contributing to active client projects while developing your consulting skills. Interns receive mentorship and participate in a nationwide cohort program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions impact clients and the community.
- Develop core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
- Learn safe field and laboratory practices, ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards, and project management fundamentals.
- Gain experience in proposal development, quality management systems, and client communication.
- Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program with potential opportunities to share your experience with executive leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering, or related technical fields.
- A strong interest in consulting and fieldwork.
- Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
