About the role#
This internship focuses on managing inventory and discontinuance planning. You will work with the team to track notices from raw material suppliers and determine the necessary steps to maintain supply chain stability. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making to support production requirements.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and analyze the impact of discontinuance notices from suppliers.
- Prioritize actions based on Last Time Buy (LTB) deadlines and cost impact.
- Notify relevant stakeholders and provide summaries of issues and next steps.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Commodity Management, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Prepare and present LTB proposals to senior management.
- Perform LTB calculations and analysis using Excel and Rapid Response MRP.
- Create presentations in PowerPoint for executive summaries and recommendations.
- Participate in process documentation for cross-training.
- Identify and lead projects to implement AI tools for process efficiency.
- Engage in continuous improvement and standardization projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BA/BS degree program with a focus on Business or Operations Management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive work style.

- Compensation: $25.50 - $47.00 per hour, based on experience.
