About the role#
As a Field Application Engineering Intern at Teradyne, you will work with LitePoint application solutions. This role is based in San Jose, California, for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site as part of a full-time internship, gaining hands-on experience with wireless communications, RF measurements, and testing equipment.
What you'll do#
- Set up and validate LitePoint application solutions on customer devices.
- Write code and scripts with guidance from your mentor.
- Run regression tests on QA stations.
- Investigate test results and debug software and hardware failures.
- Build technical expertise in testing equipment and wireless communications.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with C or C++ programming.
- Basic knowledge of wireless communications and RF concepts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Compensation: The hourly pay range is $25.50 to $47.00, depending on experience and skills.
