About the role#
The Logistics Operations & Analytics Intern will join the Global Logistics & Distribution organization. You will gain exposure to logistics operations, distribution, systems and analytics, trade compliance, and project management. This role focuses on supply chain operations and continuous improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Support logistics, distribution, and supply chain projects across multiple functional teams.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost savings, and service performance.
- Support transportation, distribution, and trade compliance teams with research, analysis, and documentation.
- Assist with project planning, status reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder communications.
- Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, process documentation, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Distribution, Trade Compliance, IT, Finance, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Participate in rotational assignments across Transportation, Distribution, Systems & Analytics, Trade Compliance, and Project Management.
- Present project findings and recommendations to team leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Interest in logistics, supply chain operations, transportation, distribution, analytics, and process improvement.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, SQL, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Previous internship, project, or coursework related to supply chain, logistics, analytics, operations, or project management.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP, WMS, TMS, Power BI, SAP, Oracle, QAD, or similar business systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or supply chain optimization.
