About the role#
We are looking for a Capital Markets Intern to join our team during a phase of growth. You will work with our capital markets leadership and interact with teams like Corporate Development and Strategy. This role offers hands-on experience in debt capital raising, financial risk management, and strategic finance within the AI infrastructure sector. You will learn how capital supports the deployment of GPU clusters.
What you'll do#
- Prepare project information materials and pitch decks for banks, private credit funds, and institutional investors.
- Maintain, update, and audit financial models.
- Support the due diligence process for capital-raising initiatives by organizing data and fulfilling information requests.
- Manage active deal trackers to keep projects organized.
- Monitor competitors financing structures in the AI and cloud infrastructure space.
- Gather data for scenario analyses on interest rate volatility and cost of capital.
- Research interest rate hedging mechanisms and compile cost-benefit data.
- Draft presentations, financial summaries, and analysis for the Executive Team and other stakeholders.
- Update and maintain management and investor KPI dashboard reporting.
- Conduct market research comparing our capital structure and financing vehicles to peer companies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and a foundational understanding of financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional presence with effective written and verbal communication.
- Previous internship experience in finance, investment banking, accounting, or corporate finance is a plus.
