This IT Operations internship is based in Palo Alto and offers hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations, service management, and project execution. You will work alongside the IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Support teams to improve IT service quality and operational visibility. This is a full-time, paid position requiring on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Support daily IT operations, including issue follow-up, service tracking, and documentation.
- Assist in coordinating IT projects by managing task tracking, meeting notes, progress updates, and stakeholder communication.
- Collect, organize, and analyze IT operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and management summaries to track project progress.
- Maintain internal knowledge bases, process documents, and service guides.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and support issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, or IT service management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and drive items to closure.
- Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel; experience with visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Palo Alto office for a duration of 6 to 12 months.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or SharePoint is preferred.

- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $28.27 to $60.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes paid sick leave and eligibility for paid holidays. Full-time interns may be eligible for company-sponsored medical plan enrollment.
