About the role#
Teledyne MEMS is looking for a student to join our team in Bromont. You will work on the design and manufacturing of high-precision microelectromechanical systems. This internship focuses on applying statistics and data science to improve manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and structure data from production systems.
- Analyze equipment quality, yield, and performance using statistical methods.
- Identify key factors that impact production results.
- Determine optimal conditions to improve process performance.
- Turn data into recommendations to support decision-making.
- Contribute to industrialization and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and process improvement teams.
- Present analysis results and improvement suggestions to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a master’s program in statistics, data science, industrial engineering, physical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis or programming tool such as Python, R, or JMP.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with applied statistical analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate results clearly.
- Interest in manufacturing processes and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of industrial production environments.
- Analytical mind, autonomy, and rigor.
