About the role#
Teknor Apex is looking for a Finance Co-op to join the Corporate FP&A team. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate financial planning and analysis within the plastics manufacturing industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop technical and soft skills while supporting cross-functional decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Track and report on key performance indicators by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.
- Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards to visualize financial data and improve reporting efficiency.
- Conduct routine and ad-hoc analyses to support business strategies and operations.
- Provide analytical support for benchmarking performance against industry trends and competitor activity.
- Assist the team with data reconciliation, presentations, and process improvement tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior standing in a Bachelor’s degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to contribute to the FP&A team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced functions preferred.
- Experience or coursework in Power BI or other data visualization platforms is preferred.
- Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Prior finance internship experience is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
