About the role#
Tectonic is looking for a Human Resources Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid position is based at our corporate office in Mountainville, New York. You will work alongside our HR team to gain experience in human resources operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Draft and post Help Wanted Ads.
- Manage and screen applicants using our Applicant Tracking System.
- Conduct candidate reference checks.
- Handle data entry and general administrative tasks to support the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Business Administration or a related Human Resources field.
- A demonstrated interest in HR functions.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information, payroll, and benefits.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.
- This is a full-time position.
