About the role#
This 8-month co-op position is based in the Business Systems team within the Project Management Office. You will report to the Senior Specialist, Business Systems, and work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining Power Platform solutions across test and production environments. The role involves partnering with business stakeholders to streamline processes and automate workflows.
What you'll do#
- Act as a safety leader by adhering to and sponsoring all safety and environmental procedures.
- Develop low-code applications and automate business processes using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Assist digital makers with Power Platform products, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages.
- Connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications using various connectors.
- Identify opportunities where Microsoft 365 and Power Platform can improve existing processes.
- Document configurations and contribute to solution standards and governance.
- Evaluate end-user adoption while collaborating with technology and design teams.
- Maintain positive client interactions and deliver timely technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly and accurately.
- Experience with coding, whether low-code or traditional.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, application lifecycle management, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with business process redesign, including the development of process diagrams using tools like Visio.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building and collaboration.
- Previous experience in business analysis or customer management is preferred.
- A commitment to maintaining an inclusive, safe, and accountable workplace.

- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 4, 2027).
- Duration: 8 months.
- Compensation: CAD $4,108 to $5,183 per month, depending on experience and competencies.
