About the role#
As a Legal Intern at TDS, you will support our in-house legal team. You will gain hands-on experience with real estate transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. This position offers exposure to how legal operations function within a growing infrastructure company.
What you'll do#
- Review leases, purchase agreements, easements, and related documents.
- Support due diligence for acquisitions and development projects.
- Prepare and maintain corporate records and entity documentation.
- Track and renew business licenses across various jurisdictions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on a variety of topics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The role is paid at $20.00 per hour.
- You are expected to work 30+ hours per week during the summer, with the opportunity to continue for 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for your academic schedule.
