About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on training experience designed to prepare you for a career in retail leadership. Over the course of the summer, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working closely with mentors and store managers. You will spend your time on the sales floor and in the backroom, learning how to lead a team, drive store performance, and ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate a retail team to achieve business goals.
- Work alongside an Executive Team Lead mentor to understand daily operations and department management.
- Plan and organize daily business priorities, including stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
- Partner with store leaders to provide performance feedback, coach team members, and remove operational hurdles.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot opportunities for growth.
- Engage with guests to provide assistance and resolve concerns.
- Participate in ongoing development conversations and internship training activities.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management and team-oriented thinking.
- Effective communication skills and a welcoming, helpful attitude.
- Ability to work independently, manage a workload, and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to technology needs.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the building, climb ladders, and lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.

- This internship takes place in Fairview Park, OH and Avon, OH.
- The program runs during Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
