About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on training experience. This program provides a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work closely with managers and team members to understand retail operations and develop leadership skills. The internship focuses on leading teams, identifying store priorities, and delivering service to guests.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the store salesfloor and in the backroom leading team members.
- Work alongside your Executive Team Lead mentor to gain an understanding of their responsibilities.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by ensuring team members are knowledgeable and empowered.
- Address team member concerns and remove operational hurdles.
- Plan daily goals and organize tasks within the building.
- Partner with leaders to provide performance feedback, coaching, and training.
- Lead and present at daily huddles.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot opportunity areas.
What you'll need#

- Ability to work independently and manage workload priorities.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in learning and adapting to technology, including handheld scanners and communication devices.
