About the role#
This paid, 40-hour per week internship provides a hands-on training program designed to prepare you for store leadership. As a Store Executive Intern, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work alongside mentors and other managers to develop an understanding of how our retail business functions and what it takes to excel in a management position.
What you'll do#
- Lead team members and align the team on daily business priorities.
- Partner with leaders regarding team member performance by teaching, coaching, training, and delivering feedback.
- Plan daily goals and organize plans within the building.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to understand, troubleshoot, and follow up on opportunity areas.
- Work alongside an Executive Team Lead mentor to gain an understanding of their role.
- Support daily operations such as stocking shelves, building displays, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
- Lead and present at daily huddles with your team.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in working in retail, specifically within management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
- The ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Effective communication skills.
- The ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
