About the role#
We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Tampa, Florida. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support building design projects and participate in our intern education program.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings for mechanical systems.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building mechanical systems.
- Join field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of study.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.

- Compensation: $22 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
