    • Fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, machine design, materials, and manufacturing.
    • Evidence of building things through a design team, Formula SAE, rocketry, UAVs, research, a machine shop, or personal projects.
    • Experience with composite or metallic aircraft structures, FEA tools (Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, or HyperMesh), mechanisms, actuation, thermal, fluids, propulsion integration, or routed systems.
    • Familiarity with GD&T, drawing release, machining, composites, or test procedures.

    Location & details#

    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Location: California, United States (On-site).
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
    • Note: This position is subject to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual.
