About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site role at Riverside Pain Physicians in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The position offers hands-on clinical experience for students and professionals in fields such as Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Biomedical Sciences, and Psychology. This is a hybrid role that combines medical scribing with clinical support duties.
What you'll do#
- Document patient encounters in real time within the EMR.
- Capture history, physical exam findings, and treatment plans as directed by the provider.
- Record lab, imaging, and procedure results accurately.
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits.
- Support medication reconciliation, clinical follow-up, and patient education.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and finalized in a timely manner.
- Track orders, follow-ups, and communications while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to document in real time.
- Excellent typing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a clinical environment.
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
- Preferred qualifications include medical scribe experience, a background as a medical assistant or EMT, and knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.
Location & details#
- Location: Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Compensation: $20 to $21 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes paid time off and a full benefits package.
