About the role#
As a US Tax Intern, you will join the U.S. Tax Operations Team within the tax department of a large financial services company. You will work alongside tax professionals to support various tax accounting and compliance functions. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare income tax workpapers for provision and compliance.
- Research basic US tax theory.
- Assist with the completion of book/tax differences and depreciation.
- Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
- Reconcile tax accounts.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, working toward a Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent field.
- Working knowledge of accounting theory and principles.
- Basic understanding of U.S. income tax.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Eligibility to legally work in the United States.

- The work modality is hybrid.
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
