About the role#
This internship offers a 9-week program during the summer of 2027. You will join the Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk (LCAR) team to support the firm's strategic and operational goals. This role provides exposure to governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks within a global financial services organization.
What you'll do#
- Review and document business and technology processes to identify risks and controls.
- Assist with legal research, regulatory assessments, and compliance monitoring.
- Support internal audit efforts through controls testing and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve governance and risk management.
- Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare reports and summaries regarding risk status for stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects based on regulatory and operational priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, specifically as a Junior graduating by summer 2028.
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Demonstrated interest in legal, compliance, audit, or risk management.
- Experience with analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Sponsorship is not available.
