About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join a Corporate IT team focused on building secure and scalable services within cloud, API, and DevOps environments. This position requires you to obtain Reliability Status Clearance as a condition of employment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of APIs under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Help gather functional requirements and create technical specifications and test plans.
- Assist with system and project documentation.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program with a graduation date of April 2027 or later.
- Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java.
- Familiarity with Python.Net.Net Core, or the Java Springboot framework.
- Familiarity with SQL for relational or NoSQL databases.
- A professional attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies.

- Location: Waterloo, Ontario.
- Modality: This role is available as remote, on-site, or hybrid. If you choose remote or hybrid work, you must be located within the province of Ontario.
