About the role#
This position offers an 8-month term from January to August 2027. You will work closely with the CIO, technology executives, and business partners to provide strategic support. The role focuses on executive strategy sessions, digital transformation initiatives, and the management of balanced scorecards. You will help bridge the gap between technical teams and senior leadership by synthesizing information and supporting organizational goals.
What you'll do#
- Support the CIO and technology executives in defining and advancing strategic ambitions.
- Assist with digital transformation programs, including agile adoption and organizational design.
- Develop and manage digital metrics, OKRs, and balanced scorecards to track operational progress.
- Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence for executive review.
- Create executive-level communications and reports to expand the presence of IT across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary degree program in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Communications.
- An expected graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint, including the ability to build presentations from storyboards to final products.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, specifically for financial management, data visualization, and reporting.
- Clear written and oral communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts for senior executive audiences.

- This is a paid, full-time hybrid role.
- Locations include Toronto and Waterloo, Ontario.
- The term covers Winter and Summer 2027.
