About the role#
As an Ortho Sales intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the medical technology field. This role provides exposure to the daily operations of our branch, including sales processes, field operations, and warehouse logistics. You will work alongside experienced sales representatives and operations team members to learn how we support healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to observe branch operations.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Support warehouse staff in assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
- Collaborate with various teams on product-related tasks and assist with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and business acumen skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
