About the role#
Stryker is hiring an Intern for our Ortho Sales team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Los Angeles, California. You will work directly with our sales and operations teams to gain hands-on experience in the medical equipment manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn how our branch functions.
- Develop a target account list or create a marketing strategy as part of a dedicated project.
- Build your selling skills and learn instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist the warehouse team with assembling and breaking down instrument kits for surgeries.
- Help team members with the delivery of kits to and from customer accounts.
- Collaborate with various teams on special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Communications.
- You must plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S.
