About the role#
As an Ortho Sales Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in medical equipment sales and branch operations. This summer 2027 internship offers exposure to the full lifecycle of surgical product delivery and sales strategy. You will work directly with our field teams to understand how we support healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn branch functions.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Build selling skills and learn instrument use techniques through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist the warehouse team with assembling and breaking down instrument kits for surgery.
- Support field operations by helping deliver kits to customer accounts.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the sales and operations teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or Kinesiology.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or above is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
