About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within Research and Development or Product Engineering teams at Stryker. You will contribute to projects that impact medical technology while working alongside experienced professionals. This is a full-time, paid position based in Mahwah, New Jersey, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify the goals and needs for future products.
- Research new technologies, business requirements, regulations, and customer expectations.
- Design new products and manage the development process from concept to production.
- Improve the safety and efficacy of existing products using root cause analysis and performance data.
- Document complex processes and present your findings in a clear, accessible format.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
