About the role#
Elevate Surgical, representing Arthrex, is offering an internship program for students interested in the medical device industry. You will work with our operations and sales teams in San Diego to gain hands-on experience with inventory management, logistics, and the sales process. This is a 12-week program starting February 1, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare medical implant products for packaging and shipment.
- Work with the operations team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Use inventory management software to track stock levels and maintain records through cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate requests from field sales representatives and assist with logistics for products in the field.
- Deliver trays and implants to hospitals, surgery centers, and storage units.
- Learn about FDA compliance for biologic and tissue products.
- Shadow a sales representative in the operating room for a day.
- Assist the Medical Education team with setup and cleanup for local cadaver labs.
- Attend meetings, leadership trainings, and sales trainings.
- Complete a final sales presentation on a product or procedure you studied during the term.
What you'll need#
- Status as a Junior or Senior in a degree program.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with high attention to detail.
- A team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- A current driver’s license and access to your own transportation.

- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 12 to 20 hours per week, flexible based on your class schedule.
