About the role#
Stevens Capital Management LP is hiring students for the Quantitative Research Analyst role. This is a rolling internship opportunity available for undergraduate, masters, and PhD students. You can work full-time during the summer or part-time during the school year. The work is on-site in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
You will contribute to the firm's empirical research process. Your work involves reading and analyzing academic research and source material to identify anomalies in global financial markets. You will also build data sets and perform statistical analysis on financial data.
What you'll need#
- Substantial progress toward a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, finance, or computer engineering. Graduate-level studies are preferred.
- Programming experience, ideally with R, C++, or Python.
- Experience with regression analysis.
- A strong interest in building, organizing, and analyzing large data sets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
