About the role#
Stevens Capital Management LP offers a rolling internship for students interested in software development within the investment management industry. This is a full-time, on-site, paid role based in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Build new software and improve current systems.
- Create tools to process, store, and analyze financial, trade, and quote data.
- Collaborate with traders, quantitative research analysts, and implementation programmers to deliver software solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
- You have an excellent academic record and strong problem-solving skills.
- You have programming knowledge in C++ or Java.
- You have experience working in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with shell scripts like Bash, Perl, or CSH is helpful.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle is a plus.
